Lowepro Photo Sport 200 AW Review

For the last two years I've owned the Photo Sport 200 AW by Lowepro.  I've put this backpack through the wringer multiple times and it's still going strong.  Temperatures between 0-105 degrees Fahrenheit, red rock deserts to 10,000 foot peaks, wake boarding, snow caving, canyoneering, it's been through just about everything imaginable.  So take my word for it, this pack was built for adventure!  Just over a year ago I did a full review of the awesome Photo Sport features on another blog project I've been working on.  Please check it out here, but before you do that take a look at this sweetened condensed version of proven reliability...

I decided to do a second review because it's an early spring in Utah and this past weekend I was shooting snowboarding in the morning and dirt biking by the afternoon.  It's the cabin fever time of year where I can begin to test all of the photographic ideas I've been amassing through the winter.  I'm going non-stop and I wouldn't be able to move nearly as fast without a backpack that can hold everything and more than I need.  Below are some phone pics of some my journeys and photos of the end result.

One of the shots I took this past weekend, the moment I realized how much I rely on my pack.

Canyoneering in the middle of nowhere last summer, it got pretty tight.  At one point I slid down a ten foot wall on my side, the Photo Sport was my skid plate and I didn't get a scratch!

Bad phone pic, but I told you it was a tight canyon...

Rainy day in the hills above my house.  AW means All Weather, so moments like this are no sweat!

Sunset at the flag.  Like I said, I was up there for a while.  but it was worth it!

So there you have it, the pack performs well under almost all conditions.  If photographing your adventures is part of your plans I recommend checking out the Photo Sport line from Lowepro, they're well worth the money!
