Ramp Riot Wows Idaho

Colton Satterfield is a BMX rider that grew up in a rather rural area of Idaho.  His childhood was filled with dreams of becoming the best in his favorite sport and one day winning a gold medal at the X-Games.  Because he lived in a small town it seemed to be an impossible task, but with determination he went out and achieved his dreams, becoming an X-Games gold medalist multiple times, including this year's big air contest where he landed a trick which hasn't been completed since 2006!  After realizing his dream, Colton decided to give back.  He wanted to show the young kids of Idaho that anything is possible if you want it badly enough.  Ramp Riot was how he planned on getting the message out...

Imagine walking into a stadium and seeing a three story ramp set up in front of you, along with three jumps, the longest of which is 30 feet across, with BMX riders practicing their lines.  Then in between these jumps there are two more jumps with landings 70 feet away designed for a dirt bike.  This is exactly what kids saw when they came for the show.  It'd be awesome in New York or Los Angeles, but in the small town of Pocatello, Idaho?  Unreal.  This is what Colton wanted.  For two hours he and other riders amazed the crowd, all the while talking about what can be accomplished when you set your mind to it, and most importantly not to let the negativity of others slow you down.
